This is an ALL AGES event open to any photographers (pro, amateur, hobby, etc)

The workshop will take place on Saturday February 17th and Sunday February 18th at PhotoFilmStage in Glendale, California (just outside of L.A.)

While most photography workshops and seminars start around $1,000 and up - I wanted to keep this open to everyone who actually needs or wants to be here, SO! Tickets are available for $500 for the 2 days ($300 for a single day ticket), and $300 2-day tickets for those who have been to another of my seminars.

This seminar/workshop will focus on the business behind being a photographer in the music industry (such as marketing, promoting yourself, expanding jobs, getting more work, bigger shoots), as well as lighting technique, editing, and of course live shoots with the guest band. it will also focus on doing portrait work with musicians. It will cover the process from setting up the photo shoot, scouting locations, posing, different types of lighting and lighting equipment for different situations, shooting endorsements, promotional images, CD layouts, Magazine layouts, as well as taking you through the process of what you do AFTER the shoot, invoicing, getting repeat business, making a living in photography, what to charge for your work, etc. etc. Different types of lighting for different types of locations and situations. Different types of editing for different looks for images.

The first day will be the seminar day, where all of the above is taught in the morning, as well as a lightroom and photoshop post processing tutorial... then in the afternoon YOU will be doing mock-photo shoots experimenting with different types of lighting equipment, lighting set ups, poses, etc.. I have also expanded the music photography business section even more, and will also include private portfolio critique for those who want it.

The second day will be a hands on photo shoot of special guest bands done first by myself, so you can see me work a real life situation photo shoot, then its your turn! you take over and do a real photo shoot with the band in various locations using different lighting.

The seminar will be held at an incredible studio where I do most of my photo shoots while on the west coast.
